Ed Whittaker / COO
Edward Whitaker owns and operates Second Generation Energy LLC, which installs solar photovoltaic and solar hot water systems and performs deep energy retrofits and comprehensive energy audits. Whitaker is certified as a PV Installer by the North American Board of Certification for Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Licensed Construction Supervisor. Ed holds a BS in pre-professional Biology from Framingham State College where he graduated Summa cum laude.
As COO, Ed Whitaker is responsible for the assessment and management of installation and operational functions, including the coordination and acquisition of materials and installations, and is the primary manager of the marketing and sales and general and administrative functions of the company.
Gill Eapen / CFO
Gill Eapen is the founder and managing principal of Decision Options, LLC, a boutique firm providing advisory services and software for real asset valuation and portfolio management. Prior to establishing that firm, he was group director of finance at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, responsible for the financial analysis and planning of their R&D portfolio. Before that he was manager at Deloitte Consulting providing strategic and operational planning consulting to clients in technology, consumer goods and manufacturing sectors. Previous employers also include Hewlett-Packard and Asea Brown Boveri, where he was involved in power plant analysis, design and software development.
Eapen holds graduate degrees from Northwestern and University of Chicago, Harvard University’s Executive Development Program, and an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology. He is also a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
As CFO, Gill Eapen provides guidance and assessment of the financial and business models of the company's activities and oversees the company's compliance with the business model's objectives.
Rob Wolf / CEO & Legal Counsel
Rob Wolf is a licensed engineer and licensed attorney with an MBA in finance and over 20-years of business experience in facilities development and operations. Wolf is admitted as an attorney in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Bars, the Boston Bar, the Energy Bar and the American Bar Association Law Practice Management Section. He holds a Wind Energy Technical Certificate from the University of California at Davis.
Wolf earned his BS in Communications at Boston University, his JD law degree cum laude from Pierce Law and graduate business degree with honors at the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School for Business and the Sawyer School at Suffolk University in Boston where he earned his MBA in Finance.
As CEO and Chief Legal Counsel, Rob Wolf is responsible for the company’s major initiatives, projects and agreements and coordinates all legal and regulatory processes, and co-manages and assists as necessary in the marketing and general and administrative functions of the company.
