The Big Difference with American Modern Energy
A significant distinction in our business model is the allocation of resources toward operations and maintenance, and management and governance of the operating entity. Unlike other developers, we understand solar projects are not simply “build and walk away.” Although solar panels and their related hardware need little mechanical maintenance as compared to other energy sources, functions still need to be monitored, output generation needs to be invoiced to the hosts, energy credits need to be sold, equipment needs to be replaced, and our investors and creditors need an accounting for their participation.
Even more important: we understand these solar generating installations have to work reliably and predictably. We are the only solar project developer that has an operations and maintenance team that regularly inspects each roof and checks the technical facilities. Ask the other developers how they plan to keep their customers (and investors) happy. You probably won't like their answer.
